Patrick G. Cohen serves as the Chief Executive Officer of TechNolij and is responsible for the overall planning, organization, and direction of the organization’s operations and programs. He also ensures that services and funding relationships are robust enough to meet the strategic goals. Patrick is a social entrepreneur and has nearly 25 years of experience in the education and workforce development, commercial and residential real estate, corporate finance and advisory service fields. He previously served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for NPower Inc., a national nonprofit that trains underserved young adults and veterans in technology skills and places them in technology positions at Fortune 500 firms. He raised over $15M over the past three years through national corporate partners such as Amazon Web Services,Accenture, Citi,Guardian Life Insurance and JP Morgan Chase. He was with NPower for twelve years and led the significant growth and development of the program. He helped to grow the annual budget from $500K to $22M, number of students served per year from 90 to 3,000, and one site to twelve in the U.S. and Canada.
Patrick holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Real Estate Development from New York University and a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Accounting from the University of Miami. Patrick recently relocated back to South Florida with his wife and three children after spending 22 years in New York. He is excited to bring his experiences back home to help communities in need. He was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Covenant House of South Florida where plans to help to transform the lives of homeless youth.
